12 July 2009 | EJC 2009 (The 32nd European Juggling Convention)
This time in Vitoria in the Basque country (North of Spain, 40 miles South of Bilbao). The biggest juggling event in the world and will potentially contain lots of unicycling. Well worth the visit. |

| 18 July 2009 | Emunicyclists Unicycle Hockey Tournament
Location : Darley Fields, Chester Green, Derby, DE1 3SA. (The same venue as previous years). Cost : £6 per player. The event is limited to 8 teams and will follow the normal league
format where all teams get to play one and other.
Following the hockey there will be food in the local pub, which is
included in the price. Entries will be on a first come first served basis and preference will be given to league teams. There may be the chance to play in a scratch team, if interested email and availability will be confirmed nearer the time.

As part of the Ambleside Traditional Sports there will be this year a "unicycle challenge race". This will consist of two circuits around a 300 metre running track (note it is a grass track marked out on pasturel and so it not a flat level surface).
If you want to take part contact Jak and he will send you a complimentary ticket for entry (or a couple if desired), it is free entry for the event (report to Secretary's Tent for 11.30). Trophy for winner and medals for all participants. A fantastic and unusual day out.

Weekend convention based around the fantastic Hawth Theatre in Crawley. The workshops are normally well organised and the show on Saturday evening is very good for the size of the convention. Very friendly atmosphere. This years theme is Superheroes.
